Arlene Jackson
Arlene Jackson is a local pastor serving God at Grace Church in various capacities for 17 years. She’s married to Chris and between them they have five children. Arlene was born in New York, found her way into “the rooms” of 12 Step Recovery programs when she was 27, and has had a passion for partnering with God in the transformation of hopeless people with addictions, afflictions, and compulsive behaviors through the power, process, places, and people available in recovery programs ever since. She has lived in Florida for 32 years, became a Grace Church “attender” over 20 years ago, and from the pews found her calling in pastoral ministry. Arlene graduated from the Course of Study at Duke Divinity School, much to the dismay of her colleagues from Asbury. Arlene has planted a church campus in South Dakota, and has served on the front line of each Grace Church multi-site adventure. Presently she serves as the Pastor of Recovery Ministries and as the Campus Pastor of the Fort Myers Central Campus of Grace Church, presently in a state of revitalization and experimentation as to what a Recovery Campus might look like.
