In her early career as a youth worker in various regional church congregations, Petra discovered her enthusiasm for the church and focused her attention on community development.

This was made possible above all through her collaboration with Willow Creek Germany.

Since then, she has experienced many times how God, through people and churches that are shaped and guided by him, moves into neighborhoods, local communities, and social environments and heals, renews, and transforms far beyond all human imagination.

That is why her central concern is that leaders consciously create an environment of spiritual leadership culture and working methods in which they themselves and others can develop spiritually, in their calling, and in their leadership, and that they develop processes through which they can promote discipleship in their congregations and areas of work.

She enthusiastically supports and develops leaders wherever the opportunity arises, but above all as an SLI coach (since 2015) and REVEAL consultant (since 2010), mainly in free church associations.

Petra and her husband Robert have three adult sons and one grandchild.
